Credit information service providers offer a range of products to help companies evaluate credit and country risk. IRC negotiates pricing for information packages. We also provide one-off credit agency reports, customer credit ratings, and customized credit opinions with no required contract. The products and services offered include:

• Credit Reports: IRC offers reports through five different providers, each of which has special expertise in certain countries or regions. IRC helps clients select the most accurate report available.
• Credit Ratings: For credit limits of $100,000 or less, credit ratings are an effective mechanism for screening clients. Ratings are determined by a global trade credit insurer’s credit scoring model. The rating granted to a customer dictates the level of coverage this insurer would approve under its policies, which gives the ratings further credence with credit risk managers. Credit ratings can be purchased on a one-time or monitored basis.
• Customized Credit Opinions: CCOs are provided by actual underwriters of a global trade credit insurance company. Underwriters collect information from diverse sources, including existing insureds, in order to render a credit limit decision based on a nuanced understanding of the obligor’s financial position.
• Country Ratings and Information: IRC musters and distributes the same up-to-date economic and political data used by trade credit insurance companies to evaluate country risk. We provide country information to our clients at no charge.
